I have been producing artwork for over 30 years.

I live and work in the city of Bristol, England.


EXHIBITIONS
I have had work accepted and sold in numerous local and national judged exhibitions. These include:
Royal West of England Academy.
Clifton Arts Club.
Bristol school of Art.
National Exhibition of Wildlife Art.

However, I have now generally stopped entering open exhibitions due to the cost and effort involved.

COMMISSIONS
I have undertaken numerous commissions and will consider all offers.

STUDIES
I am a self-taught artist, although I have been to numerous evening classes to practice my technique.
I have studied Life Painting and Drawing at the Bristol School of Art and Bath Society of Artists.
I studied for a time under Ian Cryer, President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.

ARTWORK
I usually paint in oil on canvas with a base layer of acrylic paint, although I have recently began creating art on aluminium panels.
My drawings are executed in graphite, ink, coloured pencil or a combination of all three.
I also occasionally work in pastels.
